About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team at Alstom in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of our Rolling Stock, Signalling, and Power systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure the reliability and availability of Rolling Stock, Signalling, and Power systems
  • Work closely with teams across the business to achieve objectives within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Animate Engineering Technical Issues meetings and Action follow-up
  • Prepare and attend to Contractual failures meetings
  • Produce clear and concise technical documentation
  • Continually review and update Maintenance, Reliability, Overhaul, and associated documents
  • Act as a technical expert and develop expertise in the selected field
  • Propose and define the insertion of technology as HealthHub
  • Develop the local repair ability in Barcelona, especially the electronic repair
  • Demonstrate a business case for the localization of the maintenance activity
  • Support the optimization of the maintenance schedule and casualty repair procedures
Requirements
  • Recognized engineering qualification
  • Languages: Spanish, high level; English, technical level
  • Coordination and management ability
  • Experience in RS Warranty
  • Good knowledge of railway systems
  • Previous LCC experience
  • Good understanding of railway maintenance requirements and costs
  • Previous vehicle reliability/safety engineering experience, preferably in a railway background
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resilience and sense of hard work
