About this Opportunity

Location: Our team operates globally, with a focus on key markets such as Spain, Italy, Turkey, and India.

We are seeking a seasoned Mobile Telco Security Consultant to join our team of experts. As a key member of our security consulting business, you will have the opportunity to work with leading telecommunications companies on the latest security challenges arising from 5G adoption, including virtualization, private networks, network slicing, and engagement with enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stay up-to-date with the latest Mobile Telco Security trends and security solution/service/consulting offerings.
  2. Support sales opportunities, proposals, and deal closure, as well as deliver consulting propositions.
  3. Collaborate with senior security services leaders to understand key challenges and position consulting engagements with CSPs and enterprises.
  4. Lead cross-functional security services/consulting engagement teams, comprising services and solution leaders/consultants.
  5. Drive the delivery of Mobile Telco Security consulting engagements, including leading workstreams and security solution technical teams.
  6. Develop innovative security consulting/solution proposals for customers based on their requirements.
  7. Support security consulting, solution, and services business with Telcos, leading various workstreams and security solution technical team members/solution architects.
  8. Lead security discussions with customers, taking a consultative approach.
  9. Effectively present technical topics related to security issues and solutions, providing detailed analysis and solutions.
  10. Conduct security process awareness trainings and audits across projects, ensuring closure of action items.
  11. Drive security culture within the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  2. Ability to verbalize security strategies and concepts.
  3. Ability to lead workstreams in end-to-end security vulnerability assessments/audits.
  4. Familiarity with industry security tools.
  5. Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
  6. Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
  7. Flexibility to take on challenges as business requires.
  8. Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills.
  9. Travel availability.
  10. Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  11. Proven track record of 8 years in security for the telecom industry.
  12. Experience in security and privacy frameworks, project security, 3G/4G/5G security, cyber security, and cloud security.
  13. Domain experience in security with user management, packet core, RAN, and cloud.
  14. Certified ISO-27001:2013 Lead Auditor/Implementer, NIST 800-series, GDPR, risk management, information security, personnel security, physical security, business continuity, and crisis management.
  15. NIST compliance for telecom operators and technical knowledge of security controls.
  16. Knowledge and experience in using key security standards by OSI, ONAP, GSMA, etc.
  17. Security certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CCIE, CHFI, CISM).
  18. Fully proficient in English and project management skills.
