Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Data Models: Create and implement data models, database schemas, and data integration solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal and external business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure data architecture meets business and technical requirements.
- Develop Data Architecture Standards: Establish and maintain data architecture standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data security and privacy.
- Optimize Database Performance: Tune database parameters and recommend hardware upgrades to optimize database performance and scalability.
- Develop Data Migration and Integration Processes: Design, develop, and maintain data migration and data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest data architecture trends and technologies and recommend improvements to the existing data architecture.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data architecture.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration; strong SQL and database skills; experience with Object Oriented Programming in Python or Java; experience with REST API interfaces; experience with data governance and data lineage; experience in designing and implementing data security and privacy controls; experience in data migration and data integration.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
