Job Description

Wärtsilä is a leading innovator in the marine and energy sectors, committed to shaping a decarbonized future. We are seeking a highly skilled Dive and Resource Manager to join our team in Valencia, Spain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the assigned dive resource pool, ensuring compliance with legal, company, and industry regulations.
  • Oversee diving operations, including personnel, equipment, and logistics, to guarantee safe and efficient execution.
  • Manage and coordinate diving personnel, equipment, and resources to meet business objectives.
  • Provide operational advice and specialist expertise to meet business objectives.
  • Interface with clients to facilitate their technical and operational needs for diving projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field, with 5-7 years of experience as a leader or manager in commercial diving, or secondary vocational studies with 15+ years in commercial diving roles and 7+ years as a Senior Dive Supervisor / Superintendent.
  • Strong knowledge or expertise of the commercial diving industry.
  • Profound expertise in legal and compliance domains related to diving operations.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to foster cross-divisional and cross-organizational cooperation.
