Senior Fund Accountant

Apex Group is a leading provider of fund administration and middle office solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team in Valencia, Spain.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate portfolio valuations on a timely basis. This will involve working closely with the assistant manager, manager, and director to ensure the planning, coordination, and completion of NAVs, management reporting, and statutory reporting of corporate entities.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate portfolio valuations on a timely basis
- Work with the assistant manager, manager, and director to ensure the planning, coordination, and completion of NAVs, management reporting, and statutory reporting of corporate entities
- Assist with the supervision and mentoring of several trainee fund accountants
- Liaise with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate information and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to the agreed client, best practice, regulatory, and statutory deadlines
- Eligibility to register as a CA(SA)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Structural and detail-oriented
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
