At LEONI, we are a global leader in the development of innovative electrical solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Harness Design Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent LEONI in customer project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
- Analyze customer designs and requirements to generate effective wiring harness design solutions.
- Perform design analysis to ensure the integration of wiring systems within the vehicle.
- Develop and implement design guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage the design release process and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Utilize advanced design tools and methodologies, such as DFMEA and DFM, to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Create detailed wiring harness parts lists and complexity studies to inform manufacturing and production planning.
- Liaise with manufacturing operations to ensure feasibility and optimize production processes.
- Support build phases in harness manufacturing and vehicle assembly plants to ensure smooth production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Industrial Engineering or Logistics Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
- Advanced knowledge of production process design and electrical systems.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to navigate complex conflicts.
