Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the SCADA Project Engineering Manager within the project execution framework
  • Oversee coordination of SCADA systems for offshore projects globally
  • Support the sales team with technical evaluations of tenders and contracts
  • Manage change orders for additional functionalities requested by clients
  • Oversee the project execution process from contract signing to client handover
  • Request and organize resources from the SCADA team within the organizational structure
  • Monitor and update critical milestones for SCADA projects
  • Ensure deadlines for system delivery are met in collaboration with Central Engineering
  • Address and manage open issues related to customer projects
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Engage in customer meetings
  • Prepare the Bill of Materials (BoM) for SCADA panels with the production team
  • Oversee SCADA panel production and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure successful delivery of panels
  • Manage options related to SCADA system delivery
  • Ensure accurate documentation, including 'as built' records and other project-related documents
  • Identify challenges and develop solutions to enhance wind farm SCADA systems
  • Expect some travel to sites and client locations.

Qualifications

A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving change are essential. We seek candidates who possess:

  • A strong background in project management or engineering management, with experience in SCADA and automation systems, ideally within the wind energy sector or related industries.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as plant automation, controls & instrumentation, or electrical engineering; a robust trade background supplemented with practical experience is also valued.
  • Experience in customer project management and execution is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain oversight of complex tasks while fostering positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • A good sense of humor is appreciated.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
