Job Description
We are seeking a skilled UI Designer to join our team at Rocket Digital. As a UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating, exploring, and delivering pixel-perfect digital assets from within design systems and concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the exploration of visual styling, design languages, and usability concepts.
- Sketch and develop prototypes for interface designs with Figma (desktop and mobile).
- Have a basic understanding of complex design systems and comprehensive UX concepts as they relate to ecommerce design.
- Present and discuss your work with both internal and external teams.
- Work with lead designers and project managers to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner and exceeds expectations.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience developing UX/UI projects, including a portfolio of case studies of user experience solutions and UI design examples.
- Deep knowledge of mobile and web app and website design patterns and UX best practices.
- Top visual design skills and a portfolio that demonstrates it—with a focus on typography, composition, and look and feel.
- Experience designing ecommerce stores and understanding UX-related best practices in ecommerce.
- Ability to simplify complex problems down to simple and elegant solutions.
- Ability to make decisions and take ownership of your work.
- Comfortable with context switching and able to manage overseeing multiple projects.
- Native in Spanish and strong English skills.
