Location: Madrid, Spain

Department: Quantity Surveying / Cost Management

Reporting to: Senior Associate / Partner

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Cost Manager / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our growing European HQ in Amsterdam. As a key member of our Cost Management Team, you will be responsible for supporting Senior Cost Managers, Associates, and Partners on a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Cost Managers, Associates, and Partners on a range of projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of project cost plans and estimates
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
  • Some QS / Cost Management experience within a similar role
  • Desire to work in an international consultancy environment
  • Client-facing, enjoys providing a good service
  • Able to build long-term relationships
  • Previously employed by a consultancy, contractor, developer, or client-side organisation
  • A track record of working with teams
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver to deadlines
  • A team player, collaborative, flexible, and career-focused
