About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Solutions Manager at AWS EMEA SARL (Spain Branch) - G84, you will play a critical role in helping our largest and most complex Spain customers navigate their multi-year journey to the cloud. You will be responsible for ensuring that all AWS teams are working together effectively and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the customer.

In this highly visible position, you will be a critical partner to our AWS customers, leveraging your delivery experience with large-scale transformations to help shepherd the customer through their stages of AWS adoption. You will guide the customer through the operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.

You will interface with AWS customers and AWS leadership, driving collaboration between the other core account groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services), product/engineering teams, and customer teams. You will plan and support major workload migrations, translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions, and work backwards from our customers' key milestones.

The execution of education plans, roadmap to business outcome alignments, Executive Briefing Sessions, and go-live events and transitions are critical to the success of our customer's cloud journey. You will be responsible for evangelizing AWS services and influencing customers in adopting them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale, technical, or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion
  • Experience in customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies
  • Lead technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
  • Implement cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects, or similar

What We're Looking For

  • PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification
  • Experience in cloud adoption, cloud migration, or similar
  • Strong delivery and change management background, detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exemplary communication skills
