As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will help us shape and build the future of our tools and products in the payments area.

You will work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a multicultural and geographically distributed team where most of the communication is happening online using audio and video conferencing tools.

The role requires a certain level of flexibility as your teammates may be working in different time zones primarily in Europe and the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and support in terms of automation and manual testing
  • Understand, analyse, evaluate, and act upon business requirements
  • Identify components to be tested and define rapid and pragmatic fit for purpose testing in alignment with the rest of development teams
  • Follow best practices, promote industry standards, and ensure our products are reliable with an excellent user experience
  • Execute software quality assurance testing via performance and automation tools
  • Gather, analyse, and summarise test results

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (computer science or engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and experience with OOP languages
  • Ability and willingness to continuously learn software quality assurance practices, follow established processes, and provide input to help evolve current practices and procedures
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and an independent thinker
  • Excellent command of the English language - written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
