We are seeking a highly skilled Downstream Compliance Specialist to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our Downstream OE & Compliance Division, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate and local department HSE requirements and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and consultation to department staff to assist in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards and practices.
  • Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.
  • Develop controls for identified hazards and coordinate their implementation.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or environmental science from a recognized and approved program.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related safety/operational experience and/or training, preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Knowledge or training in occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental and/or international standards.
Benefits
  • Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.
  • Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, after 3 years of service.

  2. Interviews Stage: 2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview, 2.2 Client Face to Face interview, and 2.3 Additional video interviews with hiring managers.
  3. Conditional Offer: A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
  4. Relocation Process: After your offer is accepted and all conditions for employment are met, you will be assigned a relocation advisor from LHR Americas.
