Job Title: Senior Product Compliance Manager

Join the Vonage API Communications Group as a Senior Product Compliance Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's compliance roadmap. As a key member of the Product Team, you will work closely with Product Managers and business owners to implement software-based compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Vonage Compliance roadmap in collaboration with Carrier, Security, Legal, and Product Managers.
  • Own and deliver the roadmap, including key regulatory changes such as Stir/Shaken, 10DLC, and backend systems like KYC.
  • Create and manage processes to manage regulatory requests across the business, coordinating with Product Managers for delivery.
  • Assist in identifying solutions to address regulatory, compliance, or privacy requirements.
  • Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in areas including regulations, KYC, and Data Sovereignty, Cloud Security.
  • Previous experience of working with engineers to identify and implement regulatory and compliance fixes and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in data protection and compliance, security-oriented cloud services, fraud vector analytics, and threat detection and prevention.
  • Proven experience working as a business subject matter expert or in a technical capacity within compliance & regulations.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in a relevant sector and function.
  • Minimum 5+ years of Product or Operational Management experience.
  • Experience in working for or with regulators either directly or via industry bodies, telcos or cloud industries.

Desired:

  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
  • An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations.
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and project management tools.
  • Experience of working with API-based services.
  • Able to work with data in formats such as CSV, XML, JSON, etc.
