The European VAT Compliance & Controllership team (VAT C&C;) is responsible for VAT filings in a number of jurisdictions across Europe and creates specific VAT compliance obligations relating to third parties (3P) that sell via our websites.
We are looking for an experienced people manager to lead a number of direct reports supporting worldwide data sharing activities in 3P Compliance area.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, hire and develop direct reports
- Manage and control access of 3P sellers to Amazon marketplaces based on VAT compliance status and requests from tax authorities
- Own and lead 3P Compliance initiatives
- Work closely with various business stakeholders, provide reporting metrics to senior leadership
- Provide transactional and other data to tax authorities in respect of 3P sellers
- Assist with VAT registrations across various jurisdictions
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
