We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda, Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the manufacturing process and associated equipment for a new product.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering, preferably with experience in the railway industry. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues across the business to perform industrial documentation and ensure that all processes meet the required standards.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, including line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, and process validation. You will also be proficient in using CATIA software and have experience in welding processes.

Responsibilities
  • Define the manufacturing process and associated equipment for a new product, taking into account industrial policy, existing standards, and project constraints.
  • Work closely with teams across the business to perform industrial documentation, ensuring that all processes meet required standards.
  • Estimate manufacturing workload for specific parts and domains.
  • Participate actively in product design, using co-engineering methodologies and standard SMP.
  • Prepare introduction of new technologies, with associated process validation plans.
  • Identify needs for specific manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform method time estimation and preliminary line balancing.
  • Identify critical process steps for detailed Process FMEA and FAR/FAI.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Organization.
  • Fluent in English (B2 or equivalent), with French being an asset.
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, including line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, and process validation.
  • Proficient in using CATIA software and experience in welding processes.
