Job Title: Content Development Specialist

Rakuten Global is a leading internet services company, offering a wide variety of services for consumers and businesses, with a focus on e-commerce, fintech, and digital content. We are seeking a Content Development Specialist to join our team.



Responsibilities


  • Evaluate new content projects from both a content and business perspective.
  • Prepare pitch materials for broadcasters, platforms, coproducers, and potential sponsors and collaborate with producers to secure financing.
  • Finalize commercial negotiations and agreements with producers and stakeholders.
  • Supervise the drafting of agreements in collaboration with the relevant departments.
  • Oversee editorial tasks from initial concept to final cut, including reviewing decks, scripts, and edits.
  • Ensure projects are developed within budget and on schedule.
  • Decide on localization and promotional assets in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Coordinate asset delivery deadlines with Operations, Design, Programming, and Marketing teams.
  • Work with different departments to ensure all assets and strategies meet standards and timelines.


Requirements


  • Proven experience in content development, production, and project management.
  • Full professional English language.
  • Negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with legal agreements and financial aspects of content production.
