Job Title: Content Development Coordinator

Rakuten TV is a leading streaming platform, available in 42 countries of Europe, offering premium Hollywood and local content across various access types.

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our content development team, you will be responsible for evaluating new content projects, preparing pitch materials, and collaborating with producers to secure financing.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new content projects from a content and business perspective
  • Prepare pitch materials for broadcasters, platforms, co-producers, and potential sponsors
  • Collaborate with producers to secure financing
  • Finalize commercial negotiations and agreements with producers and stakeholders
  • Supervise the drafting of agreements in collaboration with relevant departments
  • Oversee editorial tasks from initial concept to final cut, including reviewing decks, scripts, and edits
  • Ensure projects are developed within budget and on schedule
  • Decide on localization and promotional assets in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Coordinate asset delivery deadlines with Operations, Design, Programming, and Marketing teams
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in content development, production, and project management
  • Full professional English language proficiency
  • Negotiation and commercial skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with legal agreements and financial aspects of content production
