Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Leader to join our team at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the purchasing organization and delivering maximum benefit from global, regional, and local sourcing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop Annual Procurement Strategy: Prepare an annual purchasing strategy for our organization and ensure it is aligned with our global procurement strategies.
  • Lead Procurement Team: Direct the development of annual procurement business plans and tactical plans in line with agreed sourcing strategy, ensuring full alignment with our divisional and group targets.
  • Identify Sourcing Strategies: Direct the identification of sourcing strategies (preferred suppliers, outsourcing) and identify, engage, and manage relationships with key internal clients and external suppliers.
  • Negotiate Agreements: Direct the negotiation of agreements and lead the establishment of contracts to decrease total cost with specified quality and service levels and ensure supply security.
  • Implement Procurement Systems: Direct the implementation and utilization of procurement systems and tools in countries and ensure consistent tracking of savings and other procurement KPIs, according to group policies.
  • Thought Leadership: Demonstrate thought leadership related to the identification, implementation, and continuous improvement of sourcing best practices, systems, and processes and policies alignment.
  • Manage Procurement Investments: Direct the preparation and finalization of procurement investments plans and budgets.
  • Oversee Procurement Teams: Oversee the management and development of procurement teams, including direct reports and indirect reports with 10+ years of experience in procurement or related fields.
Requirements
  • Advanced Degree: University/Advanced degree is required.
  • Master's Degree: Master's Degree/other advanced degree in IT, Business Administration, is preferred.
  • Advanced Negotiation Skills: Advanced negotiation skills are required.
  • Project Management: Strong project management and other leadership experience are necessary.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Senior stakeholder management skills are required.
