General Characteristics:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Data Analytics Program Manager. As a pivotal member of our central Data Team, you will serve as the primary interface between data and key business units. This role will be vital in leading and coordinating strategic projects, providing numerous opportunities to work with key stakeholders and shape the way we use data across the organization.

The new position will be based in Madrid, with a European scope. You will be part of the European Application team and directly report to the Head of Data Analytics & Integration. Occasionally, you may be required to participate in other projects or applications to provide technical assistance to various teams. Europe-wide travel may be necessary on occasion.

Role Responsibilities:

  • As a PM, your role is to ensure the job gets done. You will own all activities throughout a data program lifecycle to ensure the BI portfolio.
  • Drive and facilitate projects, communicating proactively with all stakeholders and teams to share insights, improve collaboration, ensure knowledge sharing, and manage change.
  • Gather requirements from business users, register them properly, and participate in prioritization, critically assessing resources and strategy.
  • Interview end-users to determine the need for data, reporting, analysis, and data quality.
  • Work with Product Owner(s) to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value.
  • Plan project scope and establish measurable goals. Establish project timelines and manage the project, including escalations, to complete the project on schedule and within budget. Organize the project kickoff and validation workshops.
  • Define, implement, and track performance metrics once the solution enters production.
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions developed, synthesizing complex analytics-derived insights into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations that business users can easily extract and execute on.
  • Provide established guidelines, standards, methodologies, and conventions.
  • Your ultimate goal will be to help improve our products and business decisions by making the most out of our data strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (> 8 years) in a similar role, working as a BI & Analytics project or program manager.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Experience in international environments is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
