We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Global Service & Support organization, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring the success of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels, focusing on Genetic System platforms such as NGS and CE.
- Triage and resolve customer inquiries, working closely with Technical Service and Application Support teams to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
- Contribute to achieving specific Global Service & Support (GSS) targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with Support and Field Service Engineers to prioritize activities and ensure seamless customer support.
- Deliver professional support and service activities to provide optimum support to our customers.
- Ensure response times are met in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Masters degree in life science, engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English and German (additional language skills such as French, Spanish, or Italian are a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience.
- Practical experience in NGS.
- Knowledge of basic techniques related to Molecular Biology products with related instruments and applications background.
