About the Role
Our Regional Procurement team is responsible for managing sourcing and purchasing activities for the Torrelavega site. As a Junior Regional Procurement Site Buyer, you will work closely with the Senior Regional Procurement Buyer and Category buyers to support the management of purchasing requisitions, including requests for quotations, offers management, negotiation, order and contract management, suppliers evaluation, claims management using the SAP tool and SRM7 module. You will also assume responsibility for plant spending in your relevant domains and manage local contracts within your authority limits.
Key Responsibilities
✦ Manage purchasing requisitions, including requests for quotations, offers management, negotiation, order and contract management, suppliers evaluation, and claims management using the SAP tool and SRM7 module.
✦ Assume responsibility for plant spending in your relevant domains and manage local contracts within your authority limits.
✦ Implement regional/global contracts in coordination with the Category buyers and identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives with the support of Regional Procurement Management.
✦ Monitor KPIs and implement improvements/corrective actions as necessary and implement procurement strategies and action plans at site/site network level based on global procurement guidance principles.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a strong educational background in Engineering, Science, or Economics, Business Administration. Relevant work experience in Industrial or Logistics with a minimum of 2 years is required. Additionally, fluency in Spanish and English (C1 minimum) is necessary, and experience in digital procurement such as SAP Ariba (Eauction) and SAP knowledge (e.g., MM module) is a plus.
