We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Real Estate sector. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the company's assets.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate entries related to property revenue, expenses, and other financial transactions.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the invoicing process, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Audit Support: Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits.
  • Fixed Assets: Track and record fixed asset acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals, ensuring accurate property asset registers.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.
  • Liaison with Property Management: Work closely with the property management team to ensure accurate financial reporting and to support operational decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or property management sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS is a plus.
    • Knowledge of real estate accounting, including lease accounting, property tax regulations, and fixed asset management is a plus.
    • Proficient in accounting software (Netsuite) is a plus.
