Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Process Architect to join our team at PayRetailers Arg S.R.L. in Barcelona. As a Risk Process Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Continuously assess and optimize existing risk processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation.
- Develop workflows for risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
- Embed risk controls into key business operations to minimize operational and compliance risks.
- Develop training programs and materials for risk teams to ensure they understand and execute processes accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, compliance, finance, IT, operations) to ensure risk management processes are properly implemented.
- Oversee the development of automated tools and data analysis capabilities for real-time risk assessment.
- Monitor emerging regulatory changes and ensure risk processes are adjusted accordingly.
- Support the organization in external audits and risk assessments.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators and metrics to monitor the performance and effectiveness of risk processes, and report results to leadership.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean to enhance risk management processes.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
- Expertise in process design, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards related to risk management.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and data analysis software.
- Ability to think strategically and design scalable processes that align with business goals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus.
- Strong written communication skills in English, utilizing proper grammar and punctuation.
- Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a Related Field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in risk management, process optimization, or a related field, preferably within the payments industry.
- Opportunities to grow within a company in hypergrowth stage.
