About the Role:

We are seeking a Health Economics Strategist to formulate HE strategies for our medical device products in the EMEA region. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will develop clinical and economic evidence to support local reimbursement and value messages for GORE products.

This position offers multiple work arrangements, including on-site at our facility in Barcelona, Spain, or hybrid/remote work in most locations within Spain, depending on the role's responsibilities and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define value propositions as part of a cross-functional Market Access Team
  • Work across businesses to execute commercial strategies and drive profitable growth in a changing healthcare environment
  • Identify, develop, and communicate impactful value propositions to Providers and Intermediaries
  • Contribute to economic value models and evidence definition and collection to support value propositions
  • Establish and maintain a network of contacts with policymakers, government officials, and agencies, as well as payers and HTA bodies
  • Initiate Health Economics research and generate evidence; train selling teams on economic value representation and educate KOLs and stakeholders on economic value arguments
  • Partner with Provider Sales Organization, Tendering, Provider Marketing, and Business Operations Teams to communicate Gore's total value offering to Providers
  • Forecast and monitor investments

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a postgraduate qualification in Health Economics, Public Health, Political Science, Lifesciences, Economics, Health Information Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences
  • Advanced knowledge of Spain's coding and payment systems for physician and hospital provider services and experience interfacing with medical device policy groups and influencing healthcare institutions, policymakers, and payers
  • Advanced knowledge of the Spanish reimbursement landscape for medical devices
  • Demonstrated ability to create and interpret clinical and economic evidence to support new and commercialized products
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and drive business success
