Postdoctoral Research Fellow for Health Economics

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at UIC Barcelona. As part of the IRAPP (Research Institute for Evaluation and Public Policies), you will contribute to the project FLASH – Flexible Approach to Support Health through Financing, funded by the Horizon Europe Programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing research topics autonomously and applying empirical econometric methods. Key tasks include conducting systematic reviews, analyzing statistical data, and implementing Machine Learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop research topics and apply econometric methods
- Conduct systematic reviews of international literature on health economics
- Apply Machine Learning methodologies and statistical data analysis
Skill Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, or related field
- Excellent knowledge of Stata, R, and Python
- Applied microeconometric methods and Machine Learning methodology
- Initiative, commitment, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
What We Offer:
- A temporary position for 18 months
- A full-time contract with supportive working conditions
- A dynamic international scientific environment
- An estimated annual salary of €30,000 - €40,000, depending on qualifications and experience
