Job Summary

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional De Supercomputación is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Workflows and Distributed Computing group. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the CAELESTIS project, designing and implementing extensions to the COMPSs runtime and developing support services.

About the CAELESTIS Project

The CAELESTIS project aims to design and predictively manufacture next-generation aircraft structures. Our team will be responsible for extending the programming model PyCOMPSs/COMPSs to support the project workflows and developing support services for the project platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement extensions to the COMPSs runtime for the CAELESTIS project
  • Develop support services for the CAELESTIS project
  • Collaborate with other research members on the team to achieve project goals
  • Contribute to the CAELESTIS project and COMPSs manual

Requirements

  • Computer science degree or similar
  • Previous experience in runtime systems and system software
  • Knowledge of Distributed Computing
  • Good programming skills in Java and C, and/or Python
  • Previous experience in PyCOMPSs/COMPSs and its runtime
