Job Title: Sr. Procurement Delivery Manager - Digital & Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Procurement Delivery Manager - Digital & Tech to join our team at Roche. As a key member of our Global Procurement organization, you will play a critical role in driving the procurement strategy for our Digital & Tech capabilities.

About the Role:

The Sr. Procurement Delivery Manager - Digital & Tech will be responsible for leading the procurement efforts for our Digital & Tech capabilities, including software applications, IT managed services, and on-premise maintaining and managing applications. You will work closely with our business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop comprehensive sourcing and spend management plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category strategies and tactical/strategic initiatives to deliver on objectives and support the enhancement of the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Conduct market and internal analysis to develop strategies, influence the Delivery Managers to prioritize project portfolio, ensure sharing best practices, tactics, and vision for Roche to source and negotiate for third-party goods and services that satisfy stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage suppliers and internal stakeholder relationships that contribute to the aim of the GP organization.
  • Develop core capabilities to drive effectiveness and efficiency of our Procurement activities for an improved customer experience.
  • Deliver on customer priorities and opportunities, while enabling Roche to meet its societal and environmental commitments.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in global category management, strategic sourcing, complex procurement contracting, and operational category efficiency projects.
  • Extensive IT sourcing, IT procurement and/or IT vendor management experience and specific category knowledge in IT Professional Services, Infrastructure, Application Services and/or Software Licensing from a large scale organization.
  • Executive presence and comfortable with interacting with both internal stakeholder and external vendor senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated project management and negotiation skills.
  • Business level fluency in English.
