About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our engineering team and drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a mid-sized engineering team, develop resource plans, and set the direction for the team.
- Technical Expertise: Analyze design specifications, plan and implement test concepts, and develop automated test cases.
- Project Management: Commission and implement ECU tests, design and build prototypes, and use in-house products as test tools.
- Collaboration: Interface with worldwide offices, clients, and other departments to ensure successful project delivery.
- Training and Development: Coach team members on operations and technical understanding to support their growth.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in automotive, telecommunications, or software development industry.
- Engineering background (preferable telecommunications or computer science).
- Experience managing technically and disciplinarily mid-sized engineering teams.
- Good OO programming skills in Python, C++, or C#.
- Full professional proficiency in English language.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge in Ethernet protocols (ARP, IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP).
- Experience with network technology and protocols.
- Good understanding of technical development processes for software development and testing.
- ISTQB Certification.
- Project Management certification (Prince2).
