Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of our PDX products.

You will also provide telephone support and properly report service activity through our integrated management system. Proficiency in customer management software is required to track service calls, lead parts inventories, and complete job tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, electrical, mechanical, electronics, or a related field, and 3+ years of technical field service experience. Customer friendliness and a professional demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of PDX products
  • Provide telephone support and report service activity through our integrated management system
  • Use customer management software to track service calls, lead parts inventories, and complete job tasks
  • Keep control of spare parts and coordinate stock counts when required
  • Carry out specific projects, tasks, or reports commissioned by the manager
  • Keep the Technical Service management informed of issues and support needs
  • Attend national and international training courses as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, electrical, mechanical, electronics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of technical field service experience
  • Customer friendliness and a professional demeanor
  • Experience in the medical equipment industry, preferably in clinical analyzers, is an advantage
  • Multidisciplinary knowledge and experience in electronics, mechanics, and computing, and the ability to solve problems is valued
  • PC literacy, including MS Office and Outlook
  • Intermediate level of English

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will reside in or around Valencia and will be issued a fleet vehicle to allow for travel to multiple customer locations. Some overnight travel (20-25%) will be expected.
