Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Carts Guru. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and prepare financial forms for checking account balances and facilitating purchases.
  • Perform routine calculations to produce analysis and reports as requested by the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Collect and prepare providers' invoices, and coordinate with external accountants to ensure timely payments and month-end closings.
  • Report on performance and drive action to achieve business and financial objectives.
  • Provide analysis and advice on cost drivers, KPIs, and measures.
  • Oversee and manage individual customers' accounts, and assist with creating, sending, and following up on invoices.
  • Review and adhere to department budgets, collect and enter data for financial spreadsheets, and reconcile discrepancies or errors.
  • Prepare payroll reports and payments for employees, and assist the Chief Financial Officer with regular financial reporting.
  • Adhere to company financial policies and procedures, and provide assistance to providers, customers, and colleagues as needed.
  • Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, and contribute to suggestions for improving accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
  • Support the HR department with employee supplies and check office supplies for purchase.

Requirements:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a private company or accounting/auditing firm, preferably in Tech/Digital sector.
  • Excellent mathematical skills, understanding of data privacy standards, and customer-service skills.
  • Proactive time management, solid communication skills, and familiarity with business principles and practices.
  • Superior attention to detail, organisational skills, planning skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and critical thinking skills.
  • Computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets and calculation software (especially Excel).
