About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join ABB Robotics Discrete Automation as a Project Manager, contributing to the growth and success of our business in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium-size projects, ensuring that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
  • Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Identify, qualify, quantify, manage project risk, and ensure all opportunities are identified and pursued.
  • Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
Requirements
  • Highly skilled in project management, cost control, planning, monitoring, and risk management.
  • Familiar with the Industrial market: automotive, food beverage, logistics, etc., and have a customer-focused approach, business orientation, and experience managing different stakeholders.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Enhanced knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel) as well as cost control and planning (MS Project).
  • Passionate about team management, adaptability, anticipation, and problem-solving.
  • Degree in Engineering, mainly Industrial Engineering.
  • At ease communicating in English and Spanish.
  • Current driver's license valid in Spain and a Spanish work permit.
