At The Legends Agency, we are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. This role focuses on supporting our recruiters by sourcing, screening, and managing candidates for various roles.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks, and other innovative methods.
  • Screening resumes and applications to identify the most suitable candidates.
  • Conducting initial interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Managing relationships with candidates and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Candidate Sourcing and Screening:

We are looking for someone who can proactively source candidates using a range of methods, including job boards, social media, and professional networks. You will need to screen resumes and applications to identify the most suitable candidates and conduct initial interviews to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.

Candidate Management:

You will be responsible for preparing detailed candidate profiles and professional cover pages for submission to our recruitment consultants. You will also need to conduct thorough reference checks and gather feedback for candidate submissions.

Collaboration with Recruitment Team:

You will partner with our recruitment consultants to understand job specifications, hiring preferences, and timelines. You will participate in regular team meetings to discuss sourcing strategies and candidate progress.

Interview Coordination:

You will schedule interviews, confirm appointments with clients and candidates, and manage calendar invites. You will also prepare candidates for interviews and ensure their attendance.

CV and Cover Page Management:

You will update and format candidate CVs to ensure a professional presentation. You will also write compelling cover pages tailored to specific job requirements.

Vetting, Testing, and Referencing:

You will conduct reference checks and pre-interview verifications. You will complete criminal and background checks before offers are finalized.

Data Management and Reporting:

You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our ATS and CRM systems. You will track and report on key recruitment metrics, including candidate submissions, interviews, and placements.

Compliance and Continuous Improvement:

You will ensure adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process. You will stay updated on industry trends, sourcing techniques, and best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proficient in ATS and CRM systems (Manatal and Close preferred), MS Office Suite, LinkedIn, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of R100,000 per month, plus a connectivity allowance of R1,000 pm, and a commission structure of 2.5% on international permanent placements, 2.5% on local permanent placements, 2.5% of contract value for local contractors, and 5% on 40 placements or more.
