Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our Product Security team within the engineering organization at Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe, Madrid.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of Airbus Defence and Space products and supporting services throughout their entire lifecycle, from early research and development phases to end-of-life disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement product security requirements, architectures, and designs in accordance with security risk assessments and industry standards.
  • Conduct security risk assessments, threat and vulnerability analysis, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Design and implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participate in international working groups and contribute to the development of security standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in information security, aircraft systems design and development, or aircraft safety.
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture design, threat and risk analysis, and industry standards (MAGERIT, PILAR, NIST, EBIOS, EUROCAE ED202A, ED203B).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Advanced level of English, with good command of French or German an advantage.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate will be subjected to a NATO/National security clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with the business needs.
