We are seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to enhance our Product Security team within the engineering division at Airbus Defence & Space.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our products and associated services are shielded from cybersecurity threats throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial research and technology phases to end-of-life considerations. You will engage in a dynamic international setting where cybersecurity is increasingly vital for all products developed by Airbus Defence & Space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will encompass the definition, design, implementation, integration, testing, verification, and compliance of product security requirements.

As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will lead the development of security architectures aligned with security requirements derived from risk assessments, utilizing methodologies and tools such as MAGERIT, NIST, EBIOS, and EUROCAE standards. You will determine the necessary security controls to be integrated into the overall product architecture.

Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that Airbus Defence and Space products are inherently secure by design and comply with relevant national and international security regulations.

Collaboration with key stakeholders, including customers, program managers, and chief engineers, will be crucial in achieving product security milestones across various programs.

MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Fostering a collaborative environment and being an effective team player.
  • Challenging conventional thinking and proposing innovative ideas.
  • Managing security considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Providing cybersecurity consultancy to business initiatives.
  • Promoting a security-by-design philosophy among project stakeholders.
  • Actively contributing to the architecture and design of business solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Conducting security risk assessments, including threat and vulnerability evaluations.
  • Defining security requirements to address identified risks.
  • Designing security architectures in accordance with established requirements.
  • Breaking down high-level security designs into detailed specifications for subsystems.
  • Ensuring compliance with national and international security regulations.
  • Leading the development and implementation of Security Operating Procedures.
  • Acting as the primary security contact within your domain.
  • Engaging with customers to guide them on our security approach.
  • Participating in international working groups.
  • Providing thorough reporting on your activities.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Security or Aircraft Systems design and development.
- Familiarity with risk analysis tools and methodologies (MAGERIT, PILAR, NIST, EBIOS, EUROCAE...).
- Proficient in systems and applications security architecture design.
- Knowledge of network and application security architecture and operating systems.
- Understanding of system hardening techniques.
- Experience with functional security testing and penetration testing.
- Ability to adapt to new regulations and security methodologies.
- Proficient in writing clear and comprehensive security documentation.
- Advanced English proficiency; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
