ICFO is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our cutting-edge project, focusing on the exploration and development of twisted quantum materials and two-dimensional correlated electron systems.
About the ProjectThis project covers a wide range of areas, including advanced van der Waals materials, moire quantum matter, superconductivity collective phenomena, photodetection, quantum technologies, and strong light-matter interactions, among others.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in the field of moire quantum matter and 2D materials
- Develop and implement new experimental techniques and methods
- Collaborate with the research group and other teams to achieve project goals
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals
- Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or related field
- Proven track record of research in 2D materials, heterostructures, and moire systems
- Experience with advanced tools such as cryostats, scanning near-field microscopes, and optical microscopes
