Quantum Flagship Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Quantum Flagship. The successful candidate will be part of our Quantum NanoElectronics and NanoMechanics group, led by Prof. Dr. Adrian Bachtold, and will be working on a project focused on Quantum Electrodynamics with correlated electrons.
About the ProjectThe project involves the study of quantum and moiré materials and devices using advanced tools such as cryostats with radio-frequency access and cryogenic scanning near-field microscopes. The candidate will be working on the development of new methods to amplify the electron-photon coupling in two-dimensional devices, with a focus on twisted bilayer graphene coupled to THz split-ring resonators in dilution fridges.
Requirements- Ph.D.-equivalent degree in Physics or a related field
- Proven track record in two-dimensional materials and low-temperature transport measurements
- Excellent research skills and experience with experimental techniques
