Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences in Spain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the Edwards EMEA THV product portfolio, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing expired products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Operation Planning:
    • Develop and implement a monthly Net Demand Forecast in alignment with the Sales Forecast and the Marketing strategy.
    • Prepare and engage in the Sales Operation Planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management.
    • Play a key role in the Demand Forecast Process implementation and testing in JDA.
    • Manage launch, divestiture, and transition activities.
    • Create a toolkit, reports, and KPIs to facilitate follow-up and analysis.
  • Supply Controlling:
    • Prepare and participate in the quarterly budget cycles, ensuring accurate demand, inventory, and freight planning.
    • Provide regular analysis and reporting, including information on backorders, service levels, inventory value, and consignment levels.
    • Collaborate with logistics to identify opportunities for cost and service improvement for freight.
    • Minimize expired products and optimize inventory levels.
  • Supply Planning:
    • Contribute to new product launch planning, ensuring supply to support launch on time at budget.
    • Manage relations with Supply Chain counterparts around the globe.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Continuously monitor inventory coverage development to achieve target levels and early shortages/backorders/excess inventory detection.
    • Field inventory management, understanding and following up with the Control Tower and SC Analysts.
    • Proactively communicate to management on delivery status, backorder root causes, and recovery details.
  • Other Duties:
    • Support action plans to minimize Excess & Obsolete Inventory.
    • Approve and follow up on product movements in the distribution network.
    • Act as a backup in case of absence of team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5 years of previous related experience Required.
  • Experience in purchasing and/or production control Required.
  • Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry Preferred.
