Job Title: Global Head of Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Head of Tax to join our team at PayRetailers Arg S.R.L. in Barcelona. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will be responsible for leading our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive tax strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and oversee tax compliance for all subsidiaries, including international and local income tax returns.
  • Lead cross-border tax issues and tax planning initiatives for a portfolio of businesses across various markets in Europe and LATAM.
  • Collaborate with our legal and other departments on global projects and provide internal tax advisory services.
  • Manage a team of up to 6 people and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of related experience, including international tax experience across multiple countries.
  • Master's in taxation or international taxation desired.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with Portuguese a plus.
