Treasury Operations Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Specialist to join our team at Affinity Petcare. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing our company's treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash management, and optimizing financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, bank account management, and payment processing.
- Oversee bank relationships, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and optimizing banking services.
- Support financial reporting and compliance efforts, including preparing and reviewing financial statements and ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify opportunities for improving treasury processes and implementing control enhancements.
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows and procedures, ensuring seamless integration with other departments.
- Provide necessary documentation and input for treasury-related accounting, audits, and special requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, as well as a solid understanding of financial instruments and cash management principles.
- Proactive and quick to react to changing circumstances, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and French, with additional languages a plus.
