About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk, Compliance, and Technical Accounting Analyst to join our team at Omya Industries. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Internal Control System (ICS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Standardize and reinforce the group-defined ICS framework across all entities, promoting operational consistency and best practices.
  • Champion ICS and Corporate Policies, supporting entities in addressing findings from internal and external audits, and following up on recommendations with local finance.
  • Analytically review processes and transactions, reporting deficiencies to management and providing support, education, and training to employees to increase Corporate Policy compliance and internal control awareness.
  • Work with countries to improve processes through continuous improvement and embed ICS in current and new systems and processes.
  • Drive smart automation in the overall process, eliminating inefficiencies and automating manual tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with new compliance and risk management processes, supporting Omya anti-fraud programs and providing training to local finance to improve IFRS knowledge and awareness.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with 2-3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in English (C2).
  • Experience with SAP required in multiple modules and strong technical skills in Excel.
  • Good IFRS knowledge and ability to identify emerging issues in assurance and internal controls.
  • Proven experience in building, developing, and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Compliance and governance coupled with strong finance process knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of internal control frameworks, risk-based auditing models, and compliance frameworks.
