About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Subsea Cables Expert to join our Offshore Wind Advisory team. As a key member of our global Subsea Cables competence group, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing our service deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and lead working packages for the subsea cables scope within origination and early development projects, providing strategic advice to clients on identifying the most suitable technical concept.
  • Deliver technical due diligence assignments, taking responsibility for the subsea cables scope in large and complex finance transitions.
  • Manage the design, manufacturing, installation, and testing processes, reviewing Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs), and witnessing testing both onshore and offshore.
  • Lead working packages for technical preparation, coordination, and management of the subsea cables scope tendering processes, collaborating with external stakeholders and clients.
  • Support standardisation processes and initiatives across the Wind Advisory team, aiming to develop standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the subsea cables scope in international projects.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably with a Master's degree or other advanced degree. You should have measurable and relevant professional experience in consulting or project management, with substantial experience in offshore wind project development, execution, and/or operation.

You should have a good understanding of the latest IEC and CIGRE standards and guidelines, as well as knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation associated with offshore construction projects.
