Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our Clinical Project Management Unit, you will provide project-related support and assistance to assigned projects and project teams with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and maintain all project documentation, including files, records, and reports, according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project scope.
  2. Assist with periodic review and audit of files for accuracy and completeness.
  3. Coordinate and track all information, communications, documents, materials, and supplies for assigned projects.
  4. Update and maintain internal systems, databases, tracking tools, timelines, and project plans with project-specific information.
  5. Identify and escalate discrepancies in project tracking data, timesheet coding, expense data billing, and interpretation of financial figures.
  6. Prepare and distribute status, tracking, and project finance reports, and assist project managers with budget allocation and approval of invoices.
  7. Prepare presentation materials for meetings and project summary data.
  8. Coordinate project team and/or customer meetings, including logistics and materials required.
  9. Collaborate with other project support staff to identify and consolidate support processes.
  10. Serve as primary backup contact for internal project teams and external stakeholders/customers as designated by project managers.
  11. Undertake project management activities as directed by project managers.
  12. Train and mentor more junior project support staff.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or other related field required.
  2. Typically requires 0-2 years of prior relevant experience.
  3. Requires knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of a job area, typically obtained through advanced education.
  4. 1 year's relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Good problem-solving skills.
  7. Results-oriented approach to work delivery and output.
  8. Good planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
  9. Strong software and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  10. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
