We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data and AI Director to lead our data and AI strategy, vision, and execution for the organization in Spain.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the data and AI teams, projects, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the business goals and objectives. They will foster a culture of data-driven decision making, innovation, and ethical use of data and AI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the data and AI roadmap, architecture, and governance for the organization.
  • Manage and mentor the data and AI teams, including data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and AI engineers.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and customers to identify and prioritize data and AI opportunities and solutions.
  • Establish and monitor data and AI quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards and policies.
  • Drive the adoption and integration of data and AI solutions across the organization.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data and AI.
  • Communicate and evangelize the value and impact of data and AI to internal and external audiences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in data and AI, with at least 5 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering data and AI solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in data and AI technologies, tools, and platforms, such as cloud computing, big data, data warehousing, data engineering, data science, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft platform, Azure cloud, and Microsoft data and analytics tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, etc.
