For our Material Planning department, we are looking for a Material Planning Specialist to perform the following tasks:

Key Responsibilities

You will ensure the supply of raw materials and packaging to meet production requirements:

  • Identify the materials required to ensure scheduled production
  • Execute and follow up on order requisitions for required materials
  • Follow up on incoming orders and claim orders in delay
  • Review stocks and consumptions to achieve the optimal level of raw material inventory

You will create SAP codes for new materials involved in the production process:

  • Initiate the internal process of creating new SAP codes in the system
  • Monitoring and claiming of the data necessary for the activation of the material
  • Coordinate the related tasks with the departments involved
  • Identify needs for the production process together with the users to guarantee the necessary inventory

You will coordinate with other departments to minimize costs and manage incidences.

  • You have a CFGS or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business, or similar.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English.
  • You have advanced knowledge in Excel. Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • You are proactive, responsible, and capable of working under pressure.
