Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our team at Covestro AG. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning production activities to ensure seamless execution and optimal results.
Key Responsibilities- Production Scheduling: Create and publish weekly production schedules, taking into account available resources, sequencing rules, and campaign size.
- Obstacle Management: Adjust schedules to manage around obstacles such as material shortages, delivery delays, and quality misses, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Raw Material Planning: Ensure raw materials are ordered to support production schedules, working closely with the Raw Material planner.
- Team Support: Cover the raw material planner role during vacations or absences, and provide support and backup for other planners in the Integrated planning & supply team.
- Performance Improvement: Monitor and coordinate with stakeholders to reduce, update timings, and status in SAP, and contribute to corrective measures to improve E2E SC performance.
- Stock Management: Maintain scheduling parameters, review accuracy, and report deviations, ensuring stock levels are on target and master data is up to date in SAP.
- Communication: Communicate proactively with stakeholders in case of order postponement, and participate in Lean events organized in the plant.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Business-related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience as Business Expert, Production Supervisor, or in Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Purchasing).
- Skills: Good communication skills, deep knowledge of SAP, experience with S&OP, and ability to drive results and achieve goals.
- Language: Good English level (B2/C1).
- Additional Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma/Kanban is a plus.
