Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Coordinator to join our team at Covestro AG. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning production activities to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of products.

1. Production Scheduling: Create and publish weekly production schedules, taking into account available resources, sequencing rules, and campaign size.
2. Obstacle Management: Adjust schedules to manage around obstacles such as material shortages, delivery delays, and quality misses, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
3. Raw Material Planning: Ensure raw materials are ordered to support production schedules, working closely with the Raw Material planner.
4. Team Support: Cover the raw material planner role during vacations or absences, and provide support and backup for other planners in the Integrated planning & supply team.
5. Performance Improvement: Monitor and coordinate with stakeholders to reduce, update timings, and status in SAP, and contribute to corrective measures to improve E2E SC performance.
6. Stock Management: Maintain scheduling parameters, review accuracy, report deviations, and contribute to corrective measures to keep stock levels on agreed targets.
7. Communication: Communicate proactively with stakeholders in case of order postponement, and provide support and backup for other planners in the Integrated planning & supply team.
8. Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean events organized in the plant, and contribute to the development of process improvements.

1. Education: Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Business-related field.
2. Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience as Business Expert or Production Supervisor or in Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Purchasing).
3. Skills: Good communication skills with multiple stakeholders, deep knowledge of and high experience with SAP or high affinity with technology, and experience with S&OP.
4. Language: Good English level (B2/C1).
5. Additional Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma/Kanban is a plus.
