About the Role

Sulzer Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - Instrumentation and Control to join our FE_Energy team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, processing, and supporting activities for the pre-sales phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control and instrumentation systems for various applications.
  • Prepare and issue technical documentation, including P&I diagrams, wiring schematics, and control diagrams/narratives.
  • Manage the specification of electrical and control equipment, including control and monitoring panels, application software, and commissioning services.
  • Apply cost-effective solutions and ensure costs are controlled within estimates provided at the tendering stage.
  • Attend design review and HAZOP meetings with clients and suppliers.
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Knowledge of controls and instrumentation products.
  • Experience in panel design, from initial tender through to on-site support.
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency in CAD software, such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, and EPLAN.
  • Relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Flexible approach to work with excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Team player with a hands-on approach and ability to build new relationships.
