We are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Design Engineer to join our team at Velatia Careers. Key Responsibilities- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage all requests and approvals for modifications through the appropriate application, ensuring seamless integration with our design and manufacturing processes.
- Design Development: Modify and maintain 2D, 3D, and specific purchase specifications for materials and surface treatments of various components and subassemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Documentation and Validation: Modify or create structures and BOM in our management system, participating in the approval of modifications and their validation through corresponding tests.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and distribute all documentation affected by modifications and the product lifecycle, participating in periodic meetings with departments or suppliers affected by product modifications.
- Prototyping and Tooling: Construct development prototypes and necessary tooling, following up and participating in the assembly of these prototypes on the production line or in our R&D workshop.
- Improvement Projects: Participate in improvement projects, contributing to the analysis of external and internal non-conformities with quality.
- Regulatory Compliance: Possess knowledge of current electrical and mechanical regulations, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Industrial Technical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in design within the electrical sector.
