Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our FE_Energy team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, processing, and supporting activities for the pre-sales phase.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop control and instrumentation systems, including P&I diagrams, wiring schematics, and control diagrams/narratives.
- Manage the specification of factored equipment and sub-contract services, such as control and monitoring panels, application software, commissioning, and electrical, control, and instrumentation materials.
- Apply cost-effective solutions and ensure costs are controlled within estimates provided at the tendering stage.
- Attend kick-off and order launch, design review, and HAZOP meetings with clients and suppliers.
Requirements
- HNC or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering.
- Knowledge of controls and instrumentation products.
- Experience in all aspects of panel design, from initial tender through to on-site support.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in CAD software, such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, and/or EPLAN.
- Relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.
- A flexible approach to work with excellent attention to detail skills.
- A willingness to solve problems and improve processes.
- Team player with a hands-on approach and ability to build new relationships.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
