Job Title: Senior IT Director for R&D
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Director for R&D to lead and execute strategic IT programs that improve the capabilities and performance of our R&D department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, process design, and system validation practices, with direct exposure to business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate change via technology by serving as a point of contact with IT Business Partners and translating business needs into effective processes and technical solutions.
- Direct the planning phase of IT projects and manage the IT portfolio for the respective business area, ensuring that business objectives are met, resources are properly used, and risks are managed.
- Oversee project execution and day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered and compliance with regulatory standards is maintained.
- People Management: Monitor team performance, create development plans, and foster an inspiring team environment with open communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, business administration, or a closely related discipline.
- More than 8 years of experience in R&D application development, project management, and process design, with direct exposure to business.
- Experience leading teams, delivering projects for R&D, and working in the pharmaceutical industry with exposure to biologic products and GxP compliance.
- Market vision for solutions and trends within the pharma or chemical sector, with the ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep Pharma knowledge, knowledge in Biologics development, Biotech industry, and medical dermatology.
- Acknowledgment of Project Management methodologies, extensive knowledge of IT strategy and architectural standards.
